Un Hotel foarte bun!

I received a room with a view of the water as I booked, the staff checked me in as soon as I arrived, it was facilitated for me to change my linen on request outside of cleaning hours even though it had been cleaned before, besides that I received a champagne in the room from their side, I appreciate this hotel and its staff. (very good food).

Can’t wait to go back

We recently returned from a 7 night stay at the Bougainville and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was amazing, staff extremely helpful and always on hand. Staff always cleaning. Pool side great. Entertainment staff also fantastic for kids club and adults.

Great stay over all, lovely staff and I would visit again.

Great staff, lovely hotel, good breakfast, good location and pools were good. Lots of things to do.

So noisy in the middle of the night due to clubs and bars, not great for kids. Rooms not having basic coffee and tea making facilities. Room could have been cleaner.

Family friendly resort with modest amenities and fabulous pool/location.

Fantastic location, beautiful pool area overlooking the beach, close to a sandy beach and shopping/restaurants, great breakfast

The finishes are dated, mold in the bathrooms, amenities were not great (towels were thin and old, pillows are flat, no tissues), restaurant dinner was not worth the money

Fantastic stay and would highly recommend

Pool was perfect for family, staff were exceptional, can’t praise them enough. Room was cleaned fantastically everyday despite how much mess our little boy made

Breakfast, queuing for coffees was frustrating but that was the only negative.

Nice location, very close to the beach and multiple restaurants. The garden and swimming pool is very nice, as well as the breakfast buffet - which was great.

The rooms are getting a bit old and worn. I stayed in this hotel 9 years ago and it seems as little to none has been renovated. The rooms deserve a facelift.

So good we can't wait to go back!

From start to finish everything was wonderful. the staff couldn't do enough, they were so friendly and very helpful at all times. the hotel was beautiful, food outstanding, very clean and facilities excellent.

On occasion, at busy times there were queues for the lifts, which were a little slow. No literature on hotel and local information, didn't realise it was all on the TV.

Wonderful

- Received a complimentary bottle of sparking wine for my birthday, a really nice surprise! - Water cooler in the hallway is very handy - Great selection of food for breakfast - Excellent location, only 15 - 20 mins walk to Siam Park and the central area where you can get a tourist train at Veronica's Station that brings you sightseeing for €9 per person - Beach front and lots of restaurants - Nice swimming pools and game room - we had great fun playing the Subsoccer / bench soccer!

- Soundproof is poor, we could hear the room next door loud and clear, we could even tell where were they from and how many of them in the room! Impossible to take a nap during the day but we slept okay at night as we were exhausted from action-packed days.

What was the highlight of Iberostar Bouganville Playa

Lovely hotel with great pools and buffet, excellent value for money.

The pool facilities were excellent, there were 4 pools, some including slides for the kids and there was a bar where you could buy drinks, etc. There were a large number of sunbeds and parasols, especially the view of the sea from one of the pool areas was amazing. The food in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner (buffet) was outstanding, there was a huge variety and the theme was different every night. They definitely cater for all tastes / ages. The location was very good, walking distance to San Eugene and Las Americas and for distances a little further away the reception staff kindly rang for taxis.

There were no face washers in the bathroom, so nothing you could wash yourself with in the shower. Also, the sausages and bacon at breakfast were not nice.

Exceptional

The hotel is magnificent, and the location is 5 minutes walk to the ocean - it’s convenient to walk, including my parents, and they are 65 years old, the water in the ocean is clear, there are not many people. The hotel is clean, beautiful, many photo areas, a chlorine-free swimming pool, varied breakfasts, delicious coffee. Many compliments from the hotel: a glass of champagne upon arrival, a bottle of champagne with sweets in the room, a cooler with chilled water - you can fill as much water as you need, they made milkshakes for everyone near the pool, a presentation of cheeses, and treated them to ice cream. Sports activity every day: yoga, Pilates, water aerobics. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The only negative is the extra bed in the room, since there were 3 of us. I warned you in advance when booking that there would be 3 people. But the room did not have a bed, but a folding bed, which was not comfortable to sleep on. I hope this issue will be resolved in the future.

Exceptional

The hotel is perfect for children. They have great pools and baby pool with slides. It is also great for adults as they have 2 big pools and a great bar by the pool. The beach is a 5 min walk from hotel and there you can find loads of shops and restaurants. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful. The lady at the front desk went out of her way to help us out with parkings and made our stay much more comfortable. I didn’t catch her name but I want to thank her for her kindness. Such a lovely lady. I 100% will return to this hotel and I recommend anyone looking for a holiday destination, to try this hotel. You won’t be disappointed
